Geocoding is the process by which non-spatial data (address files) are linked to geographic coordinates (expressed as latitude and longitude) and converted to map data (points on a map showing address locations). With geographic coordinates the features can be mapped and entered into Geographic Information Systems. Reverse geocoding is the opposite, finding an associated location such as a street address, from geographic coordinates.
Millions of addresses, thousands of location information, complex calculation tables are taken from dispersed environment and transformed with İkiNokta geo-coding service in a format that may be shown on a map.
From our projects
Points of hundreds of enterprises in sectors such as media, retailing, automotive, medicine, distribution were "geo-coded" and thousands of address points were transferred into digital maps from printed texts with geo-coding process by İkiNokta.
